Short Description
At Amanemu the ancient Japanese tradition of onsen - mineral
hot springs - is ever present. Each of the 24 Suites features
an expansive deck and a private plunge bath supplied with
nutrient rich spring water while the Aman Spa offers outdoor
bathing pavilions. There are also four two-bedroom Villas. Set
in Ise Shima National Park on Japans Kii Peninsula the resort
overlooks Ago Bay known as the Bay of Pearls. Ancient
pilgrimage routes wind through nearby forests and Japans most
sacred Shinto shrines are within easy reach.
Guided by a classical Japanese aesthetic Amanemus Suites and
Villas are replete with natural materials and large glass
windows with woven textile and timber sliding shutters that
open to embrace the natural surroundings.
Amanemu embraces the ancient Japanese bathing tradition of
onsen using nutrient-rich thermal springs to provide a
contemplative and restorative retreat set among serene natural
surroundings of the onsen spa.
Japanese cuisine at The Restaurant uses local produce including
fresh seafood and the renowned Matsusaka Wagyu beef.
Amanemus serene seaside setting and intimate atmosphere are
perfect for joyous celebrations and memorable team retreats.
