Guarantee is not accepted. All reservations require a deposit at time of booking. See Deposit Policy for details. Rooms are held until check-out time the day after scheduled arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Advance Purchase Rates are non-refundable. No changes or cancellation is permitted after the reservation has been confirmed. Cancellation will result in full loss of deposit. All other reservations must be canceled by 12PM local time 90 or more days prior to arrival date to avoid a cancel fee equal to full loss of deposit unless otherwise stated in the rate description. Please cancel all reservations using the same booking channel That was used to make the original reservation to avoid the possibility of a no-show fee.

Deposit Policy

Guarantee is not accepted. A deposit is required for all reservations. Advance Purchase Rates are non-refundable and require full prepayment deposit at time of booking. No cancellations or changes are permitted once the reservation has been confirmed. All other reservations require a deposit equal to 20 percent of the full stay amount at time of booking unless otherwise stated in the rate description. The balance of the full stay amount is due 45 days prior to arrival date. Standard deposits are fully refundable provided that the cancel policy is met. See Cancellation Policy for details.

Short Description

Belmond Safaris is comprised of two unique safari lodges in Botswana - both offering unparalleled opportunities to view multiple species of big game and bird life in their natural habitat. Each lodge is located in its own unique ecosystem - making a visit to both sites well worthwhile. Both lodges are operated as a collective venture - making transportation between them seamless. The sites include Belmond Eagle Island Lodge and Belmond Savute Elephant Lodge. Both lodges are fully inclusive of meals - return transportation from Maun Airport - inter-lodge transportation and all safari activities. Accommodation is in spacious elevated luxury air-conditioned tents - each with its own large deck - ideal for viewing local wildlife. . Belmond Eagle Island Lodge is located in Botswanas Okavango Delta - situated on remote Xaxaba island. The lodge overlooks a web of waterways and lush vegetation - including a lagoon that attracts a breathtaking variety of big game and exotic birds. Guests can explore the region by local canoe - set out on a game drive or venture out on foot. The diversity and propensity of the wildlife at Belmond Eagle Island Lodge will fascinate even the most seasoned of travelers to Africa. . As it name suggests - Belmond Savute Elephant Lodge is known for the herds of elephants that can be spotted roaming its plains. But other large animals also gather here to slake their thirst - especially now that the intermittent Savute Channel has started flowing through Chobe National Park once again after an absence of many years. Belmond Savute Elephant Lodge promises outstanding game viewing without having to leave the confines of the lodge site itself - so prevalent is the wildlife around the water hole. When you do venture out in open 4x4 vehicles - there are excellent opportunities to see wildlife on the now dry Savute Marsh.
